اليونسكو تختتم ورشة عمل في بغداد لتعزيز سياسات الإعلام الرقمي المراعية للنوع الاجتماعي

اختتم مكتب اليونسكو في العراق، وبدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي، برنامجًا تدريبيًا موسعًا استمر ثلاثة أيام في إطار مشروع تواصل اجتماعي من أجل السلام، انتهى بورشة عمل تخصصية شاملة في بغداد شارك فيها نخبة من صناع المحتوى البارزين، صحفيين، وممثلي بعض وسائل الإعلام العراقية فضلا عن منظمات مجتمع مدني.

وهدفت الورشة إلى تطوير إطار التزام عملي وخطط عمل قصيرة الأمد لتنظيم قطاع صناعة المحتوى الرقمي والشراكة مع المؤسسات الإعلامية عبر دمج التربية الإعلامية والمعلوماتية (MIL) بمنظور جندري وتحويلي يعزز المساواة بين الجنسين. واستندت الجلسات إلى موارد اليونسكو متعددة الوسائط، وتضمنت تدريبات عملية على إعداد سياسات إعلامية أكثر شمولية وعدالة.

. شهدت ورشة العمل مساهمات وتفاعلا كبيرا من قبل الحاضرين وعبر محاميع عمل لإنضاج قاعدة اولية لورقة سياسات تنظيمية لهذه القطاعات، حيث أسهم فريق من أساتذة الجامعات المحترفين، الذين تطوعوا للتنسيق والانخراط في جلسات العمل، في تعزيز الطابع التفاعلي والأكاديمي للورشة.

واختتمت الورشة بوضع خطط عمل مصغرة وآلية متابعة من خلال جلسات إرشاد فردية وجماعية لقطاع صناعة المحتوى الرقمي في العراق، بما يتيح تعزيز قدرتهم على مواجهة التحديات الرقمية واعتماد سياسات إعلامية تساهم في بناء السلام المجتمعي وتعزيز حقوق النساء والفتيات.

UNESCO concludes workshop in Baghdad to strengthen gender-responsive digital media policies

UNESCO Iraq Office, with support from the European Union, concluded a three-day capacity-building programme under the framework of the Social Media for Peace project with a comprehensive workshop in Baghdad. The event brought together prominent content creators, journalists, representatives of Iraqi media outlets, and civil society organizations.

The workshop aimed to develop a practical framework of commitment and short-term action plans to help regulate the digital content creation sector and foster partnerships with media institutions through the integration of Media and Information Literacy (MIL) with a gender-transformative approach that promotes gender equality. Drawing on UNESCO’s multimedia resources, the sessions included hands-on training on the design of more inclusive and equitable media policies.

The workshop was marked by strong engagement and contributions from participants, who worked in groups to refine the initial basis for a policy paper addressing the regulation of these sectors. A team of professional university professors volunteered to coordinate and actively contribute to the group works, thereby strengthening the interactive and academic dimensions of the workshop.

The discussions concluded with the development of mini action plans and a follow-up mechanism through both individual and group mentoring sessions for the digital content creation sector in Iraq, aimed at enhancing its ability to address digital challenges and adopt media policies that contribute to social cohesion and the promotion of the rights of women and girls.
